Use the designated dog-beach area at the north end of Ocean Beach. Other city beaches have different pet hours.
Keep the coast wild
Keep an eye on swell and the rising tide. Leave shells and wildlife where they belong; use signed access and never climb around a closure.
With your dog
Designated Dog Beach permits off-leash dogs all day.
