Know before you go
A little care.
A better day out.
Public access
Use reserve trails and check the current trail-status board. No dogs. Beach Trail and connected routes may close after rain. Do not pass closures; rising tides and cliff falls can block beach passage.
Keep the coast wild
Stay on signed public access. Check current closures and swell, keep back from bluff edges, and give wildlife space.
Planning to bring a dog? Check the land manager’s current pet rules for this exact route and beach.
Your walk
Three-quarter-mile trail descending roughly 300 feet to the beach; allow for the climb back.
The Atlas pin is an approximate access-area marker. Use the official route map, signs and closures for navigation.
