Inside your tin

Cocoa Butter

Richness, rooted in cacao.

Cacao pods grow on a tropical tree, with seeds tucked inside the fruit. Pressing those seeds gives us a rich, naturally aromatic butter. It brings body, warmth, and a lovely softness to the tin.

Why it belongs in the blend

A little more
to love.

Cocoa butter gives ganache some of its lovely body. Its firm plant fats soften with warmth, helping the blend glide onto skin and leave a cushioning moisture layer. That warm cacao aroma can come from the butter itself.

For your skin

Cocoa butter’s stearic and oleic fats give it a firm body that softens with warmth. That is useful in a waterless tin: you can warm a small scoop in your hands and spread a thin, cushioning layer over dry-feeling elbows, knees, hands or feet.

Hair, curls & beard

On thicker curls or dry ends, a trace can add softness and a little weight where you want it. Fine hair may prefer it as a light pre-shampoo coating. Keep it out of the roots at first and let your own hair tell you how much is enough.

Beyond the ingredient

From Ghana, with real hands behind it

Our cocoa butter is part of the Baraka story, too. It begins with cacao beans grown and prepared in Ghana, becoming the naturally aromatic butter I love for its richness and feel. Baraka’s community work is another reason this choice means something to me.

Texture, that lovely natural aroma, and people worth caring about. There is more to this ingredient than its name on a label.
